In order to further facilitate personnel exchanges between China and foreign countries, the Chinese government has decided to make the following adjustments on the visa and entry policies for foreigners to China as of 0:00 Beijing time on March 15, 2023:

1. The Chinese visa that was issued before March 28, 2020 and remains valid will be reactivated.

2. Visa-issuing authorities abroad could accept application of all categories of visa for foreign nationals. For more details, please check the Chinese visa requirements announcement.

3. Port visa authorities will resume to issue all categories of port visa complied with statutory reasons (For more details, please contact the port visa authorities of the intended destination ).

4. Resuming Hainan visa-free policy, visa-free policy specified for foreign cruise-group-tour through Shanghai Port, Guangdong visa-free policy specified for foreign tour groups from Hong Kong or Macao SAR, and Guangxi visa-free policy specified for foreign tour groups of ASEAN countries (For details, please contact the immigration inspection authorities of the intended destination).
