Starting from 01/08/2018, The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Slovenia is using China Online Visa Application (COVA) system for Chinese Visa application.

1. All the Chinese visa applicants are required to complete COVA form. The form is on this website: https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn. Once you complete and submit this form, you have to print and sign the Confirmation page and the last page of completed COVA form (8/8).

2. You have to come on the scheduled time personally (except for children under the age of 14) to the Consular Office with all the required documents.

To get a Visa you need to bring the following documents:

1. AVAS confirmation page

2. Passport,

3. Copy of the first page of passport,

4. Photo for documents, which has to meet the requirements (in case COVA system has not accepted it),

5. Printed and signed COVA Confirmation page,

6. Printed and signed COVA form (8 pages),

7. Other necessary/supporting documents depending on the requested Visa type (refer to “Part Two: How to make a visa application": http://si.china-embassy.gov.cn/eng/lsfw/visastochina/201309/t20130902_3369616.htm).

Bring the documents to the Consular Office. Address: Ob Ljubljanici 12.

YOU SHOULD START THE VISA APPLICATION PROCEDURE AT LEAST ONE MONTH BEFORE DEPARTURE!

From the date you submit your visa application to the Consular Office, the normal visa application process takes approximately one week. For an additional fee, you can collect your visa within two to three working days. It is not possible to obtain a visa on the same day.

4. The visa can be picked up by another person using the pick-up slip you receive when you apply for the visa. Payment should be made on the pick-up date by debit card. If the visa is issued under the normal procedure, the cost is €60. For the urgent procedure, there is a surcharge of €25.
